Families with same-sex parents are still families.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

That's a "bigoted" thing to say , isn't ? The irony isn't lost, but what a sinister pernicious thing Twitter can become.

Single mothers and homosexual couples can make families in the same way that a prosthetic leg is a "leg". It fulfills some basic functionality, but is not ideal. We shouldn't encourage these kinds of family structures anymore than we should encourage people to amputate healthy limbs to get prosthetics.

I do not, however, think we should deprive them of the status of being families. Dehumanizing people by removing their status as men, families, etc., is what the left does. I do not wish to engage in that.

Saying a single mother is not a real family is similar to when leftist women tell men who do not agree with their shitty politics that they are not real men. Fuck that.
I agree, and It appears that we can't come to a reasonable agreement with values of the good, the true, and the beautiful. This is a problem. One should be able to have an ideal and at the same time be ok with not achieving that "perfection", yet at the same time continually strive for it.

Who founded the first comedy club?
And should we ban anyone who doesn't look like them from performing in that type of venue?

Can't have other races culturally appropriating a stage their people didn't build, performing an artform their people didn't create, right?

Bad news for Eminem and Tiger Woods tho. . . .

Come on DB - everyone knows white culture can’t be appropriated, just like white’s can’t experience discrimination or racism.

From a "historically dominated culture", eh? That’s quite alot of cultures... Add the historically more pronounced differences in culture between a member of the elites and a member of the lower classes, and now pretty much every single person everywhere is from "historically dominated" culture.

It's funny how some people assume that non-whites just "naturally" must belong to dominated cultures and fair-skinned people to dominant ones. One might even say that those people believe white people naturally belong at the top of the racial hierachy. Oh, if I could just remember what those types of people were called...
