Well, there is the rub, now. We haven't seen the evidence yet, so we can't very well dismiss it out of hand. Smashing the process apart because of some ostensible bias of Mueller's won't get us there any faster, nor will relying on 4chan, whose results are... mixed at best.

I want us to limit ourselves to what we actually 'know,' which is currently quite limited. And I would like to do so with the minimum of whataboutisms and conspiracy theories.

Would Bill Clinton (for example) be a good fact witness in front of a jury on some issue that depends upon his general credibility and bias related to the outcome of the trial?

Would a plaintiff's attorney conduct some thought experiments about how Bill's cross-examination might play out when evaluating the merits of his client's case at trial?

Uncorroborated witness testimony is fairly low quality evidence, and that quality doesn't change based on my personal feelings of fidelity to Billy-boy's honesty.

IF this investigation goes to trial, and Mueller is called to present witness testimony, then we are moving into wheels way within wheels. If he can not corroborate his claims, his testimony should carry no more or less weight than anyone else's.
