I’ve showed you the truth and you continue to reject it. That’s on you.

I don’t know where the conversation can go without knowing why you think a dollar is valueless, or has a value completely unaffected by the number in existence.

Do you think the value of a dollar is fixed in everyone’s mind and would remain unchanged even if we all possessed wheelbarrows full of dollars?

Yes, it’s value is completely unaffected by the number in existence AS PROVEN BY MONEY CREATED THROUGH DEBT.

We’ve agreed a loaf of bread doesn’t change price just because another $10 trillion of debt is added, EXCEPT...

There’s 1 loaf of bread and 2 starving billionaires want it. How much does a loaf of bread cost then?

...you aren't very familiar with consumer-level prices over the past decade, I'm guessing....

And that's with the vast majority of that money still being locked up in the bond markets, and hoarded by the 1%. That dam is starting to leak now.

Money doesn't get "locked up" unless you put it under the mattress. The 1% has their money searching the globe for high returns. This is what's driving the absurd real estate prices in certain world capitals, and other investments. Money in bonds is actively working, it's been given to the issuer, who is investing it in whatever.

The notion that printing dollars is different than issuing debt is laughable. The hypothetical billion dollar coin is a great example. There's no difference between the fed issuing the coin and giving it to a bank, which would then lend that money out, and the fed lending that $1b to the bank in the form of bonds. They create money either way.

The vast majority of physical dollars are circulating where it's not official currency, or out of circulation under mattresses or whatever all over the world. You could keep printing and they would keep vanishing from US circulation. Does a dollar under a mattress in the 3rd world have value? It's a good argument that it's like a tree in the empty forest, it only has value when it comes out and is spent.
We are only accustomed to dealing with like twenty online personas at a time so when we only have about ten people some people have to be strawmanned in order to advance our same relative go nowhere nonsense positions. -TheReal_ND

"Circulation" by planting cash in the market, to be hoarded or bonused away by a corporation is not the same thing as "circulation" through an economy.

Then why is real purchasing power declining?

??? My iPhone, car, TV, even my lawnmower deliver much more value for my dollars. Even staples like food have gone down in price: selection, availability, quality are well worth it.

Housing is an example of consumption > production.
