You’re a fool if you believe that.
Especially bc you’re in IT support without a BS CS - your job and wages are going to take a hit - and you dont event know it.
Buddy, my income already took a hit and has been for the past 25 years because of those fucking H1B visas, and the abuse the visa companies did to the tech industry during the 90's to now.

Back in 96 I was making 50K as a Network Admin, today that same job with an advanced degree in Boston is between 70k to 90k.(at most) The average is between 60k to 80k. That being said, 50K in 1996 is guess what? 80K today...
So, want to know what, my income if I was going in as a Network Admin has not increased at all if you take inflation into account.
Fuck it you are a lower level tech... you aren't making even close to the same money.
People bitch about the construction industry getting hammered by the illegals, etc... the IT field has been getting it in the backside ever since Clinton opened the doors to outsourcing. And fuck it if you are over 40 in the IT field, you are doubly screwed.
So fuck you.
That is exactly my point - so why did you say "Highly educated, that means people who can do jobs that Americans can’t do so easily" ? There are plenty of Americans IT workers...no need for H1B other than to drive wages down.
I'm confused....
Standard IT isn’t highly educated. Most are useful idiots.
What you are mistaking IT are not. This is a common misconception. Programmers aren’t IT.
Most people who are in IT can do it with nothing more than a high-school degree, they are Help Desk, Desktop Support, and Networking.
Most people who call themselves highly-educated are morons that can regurgitate information, put them in the real world, and fuck, they are about as useful as tits on a bull.
Yes, certifications look good on paper, but I can't tell you how many times I've found those who have passed it are nothing more than useful idiots, the experience is what makes a good tech.
Programmers are IS, not IT, and anyone who says otherwise doesn't know the difference, and shouldn't open their mouths, because it's better to remain silent and expected to be an idiot than to open one's mouth and prove to be.
IT has been destroyed by the H1B visas because they didn't bring in the best and brightest, they brought in the cheapest and those who could barely speak English.
How can I say that? Call fucking tech support one day, or look at the history, India was practically brought over here because they were cheap labor, when in reality they are some of the worst techs I have ever seen. I used to be brought in to fix their fuckups all the time. (still am) Don't even get me started on their Hygine... or lack there of.
The point is that most people that say IT, have no idea what it really means, and if people say that you need to be highly educated to do IT, they don't know what the fuck they are talking about.
