1) The point is barriers don't stop determined people and Fox lied about there being a wall which worked when it was a fence that didn't.

2) Fox has no more credibility than CNN.

3) The man wants to waste money on ineffectual measures which could be better spent on ones which would. If people crossing the border are a national emergency situation then Trump should stop diverting money from more effective measures in order to fund his vanity project.

Employ more border patrol officers, invest in more surveillance technologies, take companies to court for employing illegals etc...

3. What measures would be better to stop people from crossing the border illegally. Don'y say visas, because that is not what we are talking about. We won't more officers if they the crossings are limited to certain areas or slowed down to the point they can get to them. No one said the wall if the only solution. Drones watching people run across an unblocked border doesn't solve the problem. Drones patrolling a fence is much more effective than drones watching them simply run across some imaginary line in the desert.
