I think at some level, you choose Hell so strongly that you cannot wait to get there, and so you attempt to make our nations as close to Hell as you can.

Trump's steel 'wall' was SAWED IN HALF by a 'common tool' during testing - and Homeland Security covered up the breach in public documents

President Donald Trump responded saying that every wall can be penetrated in some fashion – although during the campaign he called for construction of an impenetrable wall.
'Even a wall that is being breached is a valuable tool in that it allows us to respond to the attempted illegal entry,' she said.

But Trump multiple times has called for the wall to be impenetrable, in addition to stating during the campaign that Mexico would pay for it.

"I want nothing to do with Mexico other than to build an impenetrable WALL and stop them from ripping off U.S,' he tweeted in 2015.

Monty, what was the "common tool" used to cut through that? The article didn't specify. Also, how long did it take to make at least 2 cuts, which would be necessary to make an opening?

Aside from building a wall, has Trump's administration succeeded in limiting the exploitation of illegal migrant workers already living inside the US? Are there greater legal/economic repercussions for employers using illegals, things like that? Or is that a state's issue that the federal government cannot encroach upon or something? And has enforcement of existing immigration laws and rules, hitherto ignored, increased post-Trump?

Don't know, it was described as a saw but one of these could do it in a matter of minutes, with cutting discs and a couple of spare batteries.

So you don't know. How do you know one of those could do it in a matter of minutes? Why would you need a couple of spare batteries if it only took a couple of minutes? Did you try it? Multiple comments after that article stated that the cuts indicated a acetylene torch was used.

The only thing Monty manages to prove is that these people are a horde of criminals who have no business in America.

I have used cordless angle grinders, they will easily cut through steel of that thickness. Spare batteries may well be not necessary but it doesn't harm to be prepared.
Oxy-acetylene comes in bottles small enough to carry in a rucksack with a cutting torch.
Many points of the wall run alongside road or tracks on the Mexican side anyway so it would be simple enough to drop off heavier steel cutting kit then sneak back under the protection of darkness to carry out the deed.

So to summerise;
a wall can be climbed over,
tunneled under,
travelled around,
cut through,
avoided completely by arriving legally then over staying your visa,
sailed past.

Yet somehow they are 99.9% effective according to some.

Admit it, it's a symbol to Trump's base for electioneering purposes and a vanity project to feed his insatiable ego.

"Walls aren't 100% effective, therefore they're useless. More gun control plz!"

Sometimes you have to ask yourself where on the intellectual scale people fall when they're impressed with arguments like "A wall doesn't stop everything".

When what's obvious to you is not only a revelation to others, but the very foundation of their argument, you start to wonder if you're arguing with folks who are missing a chomosome.

If you need to change batteries, you aren't cutting through it in minutes. Unless you are being deceptive and minutes means 60 minutes.

A hand held grinder will cut through the steel, but they are filled with concrete, which will take longer. You continue to ignore the points those along the border who have to deal with illegals keep making. The wall is not going to be impenetrable. It WILL deter a large percentage of people from crossing. Those that are determined enough to drop off torches and saws will have to spend the time to breach the wall. That time is what border patrol is asking for in order to be able to get to those points and either prevent entry or arrest those who get through.

You are not interested in learning what the real issues or solutions are. You just want to mock Trump. You keep parroting things about overstayed visas when I already pointed out that is a separate issue. You continue to ignore the real benefits of a wall by repeating silly statements about how they be breached. You link to an article that claims "common tools" can be used, but can't point to exactly what those common tools were that were used, so you guess and post an image of a battery powered grinder that will require more a few minutes to cut through the at least 4" of steel and concrete.

Locks can be picked or broken with "common tools". Do you leave your trailer unlocked at all times because of it?
