Man, I think it would be a very positive experience for both parties involved if these immigrants from former communist parties talked to Cortez supporters and Bernie Bros. If you could get a bunch of them in a room at a rally, and then have a person from one of these countries speak to them, and explain to them what life was really like under that system. I don't know if it would do any good, but I feel like a few of them would start to do some actual research and critical thinking and examine their beliefs. Who knows. I always enjoyed talking with veterans from various wars the US fought, and it made me want to learn more about the conflict, plus talking to someone, especially if they are older than you, makes you kind of look up to them because they have life experience in some heavy shit. I suspect a lot of these leftists would be very impacted by such a conversation. At least after that, they could not claim ignorance.

Stuff like that has been tried. The corporate media stifles their story, and pretends like they don't have a voice...…………. or the classic, well, Communism just hasn't been done right yet, or it would have worked if it weren't for Stalin, etc.
