Re: Literal Odds and Ends
I was 18 or 19. Logging, falling trees. Early one AM, first tree of the day. It was a Doug Fir, non-typical growth patterns. I fell the tree and hopped up on the butt to start limbing. The branches were odd shaped and twisted. I was cutting a limb with the top of the chainsaw bar, it twisted and knocked the running saw back into my leg, just below the knee. 27 stitches, could have been worse.
Back then I was, young, dumb and full of cum, as we'd say. It wasn't bleeding that much so I wrapped my handkerchief around it and worked til lunch time. When I went in for lunch, the boss sent me to the Doc.

Probably only needed to pour some Tussin on it and get back to work.

I have some good stories, that I look back on now and think, how in the fuck did you do that or live to be a mature adult. I don't even tell some of them because they seem outlandish and made up.

I definitely should not have survived my 20s. LolC-Mag wrote: Sat Dec 29, 2018 7:17 am I have some good stories, that I look back on now and think, how in the fuck did you do that or live to be a mature adult. I don't even tell some of them because they seem outlandish and made up.

Why do we not celebrate Aaron Burr's Birthday as a federal holiday every 6 Feb? Something should be done to honor the man who ended the graft and corruption of Alexander Hamilton.
