How excatly are illegal immigrants able to collect any welfare benefits? Do they just walk through the door at whatever office hands out welfare checks, ask for welfare benefits and get paid? The two illustrations you post, Carlus, has one for just plain "immigrants" with no mention of illegals, so they may not recieve any at all for all I know. I was just under the impression that the principal problem with illegal immigration was one of the illegal employees and employers not paying their taxes and that it was easier to pay the same wages for a job to an illegal because you're not letting yourself get taxed. Or something?

But really, can some Mexican or Honduran illegal simply walk across the border, get an American address and then start collecting US welfare without needing to prove he/she's a citizen, at all?

They have forged Social Security Cards, with stolen numbers of real people. In Construction, I've seen these guys have a stack of SS Cards half as thick as a deck of cards. In criminal states like California, they will give valid drivers licenses to Illegals, then they appear legit. No one talks about all the process and administrative crimes these people commit, hell they don't even want to talk about the crime of illegal entry.

In America, if you work and pay taxes you're a sucker. We have free loaders top and bottom.

That fact was noted by Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson in his news conference Thursday: “Unlike Ron, who immigrated to this country lawfully and legally to pursue his lifelong career of public safety, public service in being a police officer, this suspect is in our country illegally.”

Newman Police Chief Randy Richardson, fighting through tears, also noted that “Singh immigrated to the United States from Fiji, determined to be a police officer. He commuted more than two and a half hours from his home to the police academy in Yuba City, which he put himself through,” as quoted by the local Modesto Bee.
