Just a few days in and the situation is bleak for Federal Employees, Trump has ruined Christmas............... er I mean the non-specific Holiday Season.

Feds forced to have lunch with friends, eat mothers cookies, check their multiple bank accounts.

Honestly, if this shutdown goes on for weeks and even months, it wouldn't be so bad. If you think about it, the people who are getting their paychecks withheld until the government brings them back to work are almost all democrats. They are exactly the kinds of people who are pushing for open borders to bring in tens of millions of unskilled laborers to take jobs away from American citizens in the working class. They support the globalist policies of the democratic party that resulted in the offshoring of a significant portion of the manufacturing and tech jobs in this country. They are the kinds of people Hillary Clinton was pandering to when she gloated about destroying the coal mining sector, without even a moment's thought of what that means for the working class Americans across Appalachia. They consider everybody outside their urban America "rednecks in flyover country".

They never had to pay any of the costs of their votes. Now they are feeling a tiny bit of pain -- nothing anywhere near what they inflicted upon other Americans who were laid off and do not even have some future paycheck to look forward to -- and they are squealing.

Make them squeal. Make them understand that we don't give a shit precisely because they don't give a shit about their fellow Americans.

Trump said the same thing and the media is having a fit about it even though they all know it's true.

The real danger is people figuring out they really don't need as much government as we are told.

Drama llamas gotta drama. Must be a little concerning for them that record numbers of people don’t give a fuck tho.

Poor, poor, unionized, unaccountable, impossible to fire, highly paid, retirement guaranteed, massive benefits having, low performing, government workers. They have it so rough. Only Hollywood millionaires have it rougher, judging by the whine-o-meter.

Saw this in my LinkedIn feed:

Teachers Quitting In Record Numbers
https://www.linkedin.com/feed/news/teac ... rs-4902826

Most comments were of the completely predictable “ OMG OMG Underpaid, overworked, no-one-understands-their-pain” variety.

But this comment, from a financial analyst, came in near the top:
Average Income of a Teacher = $58,030  Average Work Days = 181
Average Income of an Engineer = $85,880  Average Work Days = 260
Average National Income = $56,516  Average Work Days = 262
According to statistics I don't believe teachers are underpaid on a national level.  Surely there are districts throughout the US where some pay does not line up with cost of living, but then you also have to take into effect the supply vs. demand of teachers in America.  Especially when people take on tremendous amounts of student loan debt to enter a saturated job market in that field.
People getting woke. The Era of Everyone Pity the Entitled Bureaucrat is coming to an end.

Pelosi is vacationing in Hawaii, John Kerry is in France fighting to keep commoners off the beach infront of his estate. The shutdown is truly rough.
