Re: THE ERA OF TRUMP
Children shouldn't be encouraged to believe in Santa Claus. It should be explained that he is a traditional folklore character with a rich history. Setting children up like that is particularly subversive against Christianity because as a kid they will just pop your bubble and then go "oh yeah that Jesus is a fairy tale btw lol." Children are psychologically primed to become atheist through this practice going back some recent decades.

Re: THE ERA OF TRUMP
I don't believe in Trump.
Is that the same?

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Re: THE ERA OF TRUMP
No it's not. You are using a negative input to predict an outcome. A belief set is more like a positive input in that you believe x will lead to y because x is. Atheists tend to argue they believe x will lead to y because x isn't. It's a logical fallacy. Not to say that you can't make computations based off of negative inputs because that is fundamentally how predicting the flight path of incoming missiles works, but it doesn't make it more valid as a logical argument.

Re: THE ERA OF TRUMP
It's simple. Atheists will say God isn't real by asking theists to prove the existence of God. That's no more a valid argument than saying "pink elephants don't exist anywhere in the universe." Same thing can be applied to people that chose not to believe in any of Trump's campaign pledges. It's the equivalent of saying "Trump will manage to accomplish zero of those things," before he was even elected. It's a logical fallacy. You can't prove the nonexistence of something with a negative input. It's like saying zero equals zero therefore all numbers outside of this set must also equal zero because they have failed to present themselves in this set of numbers. Sure you can make a calculation like that but it's still a theorem that only works for a predifined set of expectations.

I was talking about DJT, Nuke seems as coherent as ever.
