That old hag is probably too senile to remember to put in her dentures. She actually wanted to surrender to the Nazis, but Churchill talked her out of it as did her witnessing of the Blitz. She actually had to watch her own people being blown up by German planes to avoid letting Hitler take over the UK. Watched the 1970 Albert Finney version last night. Don't remember seeing it before. Some top acting from the all-star cast and the singing was kept to a minimum.

Loses points for Scrooge buying a turkey instead of a goose at the end.
Still prefer the Muppets Christmas Carol which won top place in a recent poll of Xmas films.
