Smoking Cannabis ages the brain by an average of 2.8 years
https://michaelsavage.com/?p=23042This is compared to four years in schizophrenia patients, according to the largest study of its kind. Brain ageing is defined as reduced blood flow through the organ.
Excessive alcohol also ages the organ by 0.6 years, the research adds.
Lead author Dr Daniel Amen, founder of Amen Clinics, said: ‘The cannabis abuse finding was especially important, as our culture is starting to see marijuana as an innocuous substance. This study should give us pause about it.’

The govt should "interfere" exactly as they do for alcohol & tobacco... tax it. They could go after sellers for tax evasion if they want then, but busting your average user who's committed no crime against anyone else just for possessing/ingesting/inhaling it is silly.Friedman: The proper role of government is exactly what John Stuart Mill Said in the middle of the 19th century in “On Liberty.” The proper role of government is to prevent other people from harming an individual. Government, he said, never has any right to interfere with an individual for that individual’s own good.
We already have laws on the books for crimes they might commit while on it or to get it (harming others), we don't need to criminalize the mere possession/use of it.
