Anyone on this forum have a drone?

Is it basically the same appeal as a radio controlled airplane?

For me I would get bored pretty quickly of this kind of toy.

I can kind of see the appeal for photography and that kind of thing...
That is really the only purpose of them today... that and drone sports... but in reality, you have a better chance of taking out a person than an airplane.

I suppose we can all guess the next object that will be deemed "too dangerous" for the child-like hands of Britons, eh?'
Kinder Surprise eggs, brie and drinking in public?

You are allowed to drink in public in the US, you just have to be sneaky about it. I used to put Jack Daniels into a 7/11 cup and drink on the sly.

The threat of drones hitting an aircraft are about the same as the threat of birds hitting aircraft. Shit happens.

Birds don't respond to 1km exclusion zones around airports, is that a good reason to scrap that restriction on drones?
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

LOL

What gives you the idea I think drones should be allowed to fly around runway operations??

My point is that the alleged threat is what we already face all the time from birds. It's not the end of the world.

I provided a simple solution to the problem which could be applied to all sorts of areas people are not supposed to fly drones.

i read that 46 million people will fly for the holiday this year, i'm not sure on the context of that figure but i would estimate it's still somewhere in the ballpark of a huge fucking number of people. i'm curious to see how many will be killed from drone-related accidents this christmas

I am sure Monte's doing something similar with hate speech in Britain. Sneaks into the woods at night, buries a hole and shouts racist profanities into the ground. Then he juggles bottles to compose himself and find his zen.

And I bet Fife was a Kinder Egg smuggler in his younger years, teaching his kids Kinder Egg survival tactics, hiding from government snipers while chugging Jack Daniels under the open sky. His daughter's a STEM genius because he taught her how to build elaborate traps from the deadly, sharp and dangerous parts within the Kinder eggs.

All you have to do is look at our prison statistics to see how well Americans comply with tyrannical mandates.
Ponder that, Whipped Cream Front boy.
