The land theft policy, while odious, is not by itself a genocide. But it incentivizes a genocide and gives credence to the mindset that white people must be punished. This is very often how genocides started in the past, with draconian government policies that severely restrict the minority group, deprives them of human rights, and proceeds to steal from them to correct for some injustice. The Nazis did it to Jews. The Hutu did it to the Tutsis. The Bolsheviks did it to the Kulaks.

When I say genocide in South Africa, I am talking about the systematic murder of the Boer, not simply their farms being stolen.
