Re: China Thread
If our governments are just fine making lucrative trade deals with one regime that keep foreign laborers in slave-like conditions, where women are treated as literally inferior to men, where having the wrong religion means you get less rights, where you can get executed for the charge of witchcraft, and where dissidents of whatever persuasion are openly killed, then why shouldn't they be ok with any another regime that does pretty much the same things? After all, at least China doesn't execute people for witchcraft and they're not as oppressive as North Korea. No matter that NK is the most extreme, most oppressive regime on the planet, but everythings relative or something, so.... let's all make some money? Or at least, let's lick the ground for those sweet, sweet trickle down economic golden droplets.
The main difference between China and SA is that China has an obviously bigger population size, bigger economy, bigger military, and most importantly... a potential market for more consumers for our products. There is no big western media cover up of either SA or China's human rights violations... there's just no political/economic incentive to do anything about it. And also, consumers of news just don't want to keep reading about shit no one can/want to fix, anyway. Who here still reads about news from the Israel/Palestine conflict?

Its bad Bjorn but your description of the EU makes it sound like some kind of disfunctional marxist regime. Its not that bad. They don't arrest people for making videos of their dog doing the Hitler salute.BjornP wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 3:25 pmIf our governments are just fine making lucrative trade deals with one regime that keep foreign laborers in slave-like conditions, where men are treated as literally inferior to women, where having the wrong religion means you get less rights, where you can get executed for the charge of "hate speech", and where dissidents of whatever persuasion are openly jailed for tweets

You're describing the UK. And the EU is a market liberal, super-capitalistic institution. Marxists - no matter if you're using the retard definition or the real definition of the term - have no power there.heydaralon wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 3:32 pm

Lol, the only area where you have more freedom than my country is slightly more freedom of speech. We don't jail parents for letting their children play outside, we don't jail people for standing still in the street, we don't jail people for having a beer in public, our police don't gun down non-criminal citizens every time they get scared of their fellow citizens, we don't take away the liberties of prison inmates - especially not for life and after they've served their time, and a man who was born poor in Denmark is born with more opportunity for moving upwards socially than someone born in the US.heydaralon wrote: ↑Tue Nov 27, 2018 4:29 pmYou guys just hate freedom is all. Oh, and kids here are allowed to eat Kinder Surprise Eggs... apparantly the American State deems its citizens to dumb to safely and freely handle this:
Of course, they also deem it too unsafe for their citizens to have a multiparty system, to actually vote directly for their leaders instead of having "electors" make the choice for them.... but at least here, Americans will happily agree with the State that such a freedom would just lead to chaos, anarchy and doom. Oh, and most of you agree that your fellow Americans shouldn't be free to organize into unions, alot of you don't agree that your female fellow American citizens should be free to have an abortion.
At least Danes are ok with each other having freedom. Most of you hate each other's freedoms, it's a constant war to paint your opponents as the figurative or literal Antichrist out to eat your children, wether he's called a "Nazi" or "Fascist" or "Marxist" or "Leftist".

We have kinder eggs and they are clearly a choking hazard but whatever.
"Lets put a small toy inside of a piece of CHOCOLATE!"
"Genuis Freddy! Put it right on the rack at a toddler's arms reach next to the bubblegum!"
If your vaunted parliamentary system is so great why do they all form coalitions and separate into two camps that offer only nominal change? Your form of democracy is just as big a joke as ours. Vote NMR.

The danish national television just talked about 4chan and if it was possible to persecute danish users of /pol/.
The danish intelligence service has apparently researched in the website and found out that 4chan approximately had 170000 visits a month from Denmark.
