The DMZ is being dismantled
North Korea blew up 10 of its guard posts within one kilometer radius of the Military Demarcation Line separating the two Koreas on Tuesday in accordance with agreements made with South Korea earlier this year.
The explosions were carried out simultaneously within a four minute time frame after the North notified the South of the project, according to South Korea’s Defense Ministry.
North Korean soldiers have been destroying the brick structures over the past couple of weeks. Analysts said they most likely decided to demolish the guard posts all at once to meet the November 30th deadline.

Here's to hopping this works out....
Seems legit if they blew that shit up - not sure they have the resources to replace it...Perhaps Son of the Jonginator really does want to raise his country up from the ashes.
Absolutely
Let's hope this keeps progressing positively.

Don’t need much of an army when you’ve got nukes.

I think North Korea collapsing would be wonderful for the US. Think about it, a bunch of illiterate malnourished, poorly trained workers would stream into China, and China would have to deal with that. It would be a major clusterfuck for them. Granted, it would also hurt South Korea because they'd go there also, but I don't really care at all about that country...

Well, I don't want them coming here, but I'm fine if he wants empty his prisons out. He wouldn't do that though. Those concentration camps are what keeps the populace in fear. They are fucked up hellholes, and the point of them is to cow the population. The guards even tell the prisoners in them that if the Korean regime ever falls or if it is invaded, they will shoot all of them before they are liberated. If GoutChink Un let all his prisoners go, it would make him seem weak to his people. Besides, being deported from a North Korean prison would be a reward if anything. There is nowhere else on Earth worse than that.

Meh, a very public demolition of a handful of guard towers and a small section of landmines removed. All for benefit of impressing the Chinese so that they soften their economic sanctions against NK.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I think China should play hardball. Its North Korea's only hope for any kind of longterm viability, and Un knows it. That country is a powder keg waiting to explode, and China will end up paying most of that tab.

Remains to be seen whether Trump is dumb enough to fall for the same charade and softens US sanctions too.
I'm sure he'd love to claim it as his success...

We shouldn't be sending them anything. By doing so we are enabling them to keep being cunts and fucking brutalize their people.
