You haven’t demonstrated the labor conditions are subhuman beyond the anonymous claims repeated in breathless media reports and the assertions of Bernie Sanders. No formal investigation has turned up proof that Amazon subjects employees to subhuman conditions.
So what have you got, beyond media hysteria and Bernie?
That wasn't hyperbole.
Every movement is tracked by GPS. Every second accounted for. They are given not enough time to go to the restroom, and the restrooms are intentionally built several floors away, down and back up staircases, and out and in through a security checkpoint. If they take too long, which is guaranteed, they get a point on their record. After something like five points they get fired.
The delivery drivers are even worse. The drivers have literally left human shit everywhere around cities because they are not allowed enough time to shit.
This is an Amazon delivery driver leaving a pile of shit:
This isn't because the driver is some subhuman animal. They literally are not given enough time to shit.
Then don't work for them. At the moment - there are plenty of other jobs.
Muh Human Costs
The human costs of Black Friday, explained by a former Amazon warehouse manager
We didn’t specifically have timed bathroom breaks, but the break system was rigid. Associates got a 30-minute lunch break, two 15-minute breaks, and an additional 15 minutes of “time off tasks.” If they did nothing for a set period of time, the system would note they were off task. If they had an emergency they needed to leave the area for, I could scan their badge or go back and change their time off task later to an actual task, but bathroom breaks weren’t something we were supposed to change time off task for.
Womp fucking womp.
Sounds a hell of a lot better than the first 10 jobs I had.
Way too many people want to bitch and whine non-fucking-stop about the guy who agrees to provide them a regular paycheck, while kissing the ass of the thief that steals at least half of what they make all day, every day.

First, the quote from someone talking about a media outlet:
I bet SubIQ and JohnDuh will be here any minute to call her out for weeping about how her side isn't getting her viewpoints covered enough.
That someone was Hillary Clinton. The media outlet was Fox News.“It is totally divorced from reality, but it is superb propaganda, I don’t know the best way to puncture that. You have to hope that reality catches up with politics and entertainment at some point.”

That's always been the downside of the guy. Wanting to see everything gold plated, and ignoring the bills.

Many of those thugs who rushed the border and threw rocks at border guards are getting a free trip back to whatever open sore of a country they came from. They also got some tear gas cologne. A fine start Mr. Trump. Mexico is starting to get tired of these people too. I can't blame them. Compared to Guatemala, and Honduras, Mexico is a five star hotel with actual working toilets.

You can only use that term if you're on the left, and then only to justify letting foreigners invade the country. One they're here, if you call their country a shithole then you are a racist bigot insulting their proud heritage... Or something like that.
Are you calling Guatemala and Honduras shitholes? You'd better not be calling them shithole countries, or the left will be very angry with you for it... that is until the migrants show up, then we *must* let them in - because their countries are horrible shitholes.heydaralon wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 12:26 pmhttps://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-46339085
