Your insurance company gives you a check for $300. Before that happens though, the cop at the scene threatens to lock you up for calling the uninsured cunt a "stupid cunt," because she t-boned you. True story, happened to me. That fucking pig should be in jail. People who can't afford insurance should be allowed to drive. End of discussion. In fact, they should be in prison.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sun Nov 25, 2018 5:15 pmWhat happens when an uninsured driver totals your car?

Nothing. You get a bigass repair bill that just happens to match your 'deductible'.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sun Nov 25, 2018 5:15 pmWhat happens when an uninsured driver totals your car?

If you lived in the NYC area you wouldn't have to imagine, we do it all the time. Not surprisingly, the NJ turnpike doesn't even tell you what they deduct from your EZ-Pass as you go through, because then you might feel the bite at the time and think twice next time. Getting to Bayonne, a frequent trip for me, is either (according to G-maps) 13 min, using 4 mi of the Tpk for $0.90, or 20 min by local roads. I hate giving money to those rapacious fucks, that "Authority" has a 25% profit margin.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sun Nov 25, 2018 9:50 amImagine having to plan your routes though, not by time or distance, but cost as well. That would be infuriating.
We are only accustomed to dealing with like twenty online personas at a time so when we only have about ten people some people have to be strawmanned in order to advance our same relative go nowhere nonsense positions. -TheReal_ND

You are not required to have uninsured motorist insurance.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sun Nov 25, 2018 9:57 pmNothing. You get a bigass repair bill that just happens to match your 'deductible'.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sun Nov 25, 2018 5:15 pmWhat happens when an uninsured driver totals your car?

Same with every other type of insurance. Having seen the inside of the beast, I can tell you - they will ALWAYS make money, no matter what. Your premiums will never ever be less than the payout, unless you hit the lottery.nmoore63 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 2:00 pmYou are not required to have uninsured motorist insurance.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sun Nov 25, 2018 9:57 pmNothing. yep. I'm going the lawsuit route next time some sorry piece of shit hits me. Insurance companies fuck you in the ass with a broken bottle and still charge you a glass fee. I wouldn't wipe my ass with an insurance company.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Mon Nov 26, 2018 5:48 pmSame with every other type of insurance. Oh they are fucks to be sure.
I had my pick-up hit and run once.
The insurance company was such fucks about it, I didn't even bother to call them the next time it happened.
