I just now watched Buster Skruggs on your recommendation and can say we have completely different tastes.

p.s. I just started the graphic novel series, “Scalped,” which I think is excellent but I recommend you forget this whole sentence.

Just watched it for the first time, and still trying to wrap my head around it.

There's a LOT of references in there, and confusing themes.

EDIT: Actually, I’m a bit surprised it isn’t being decried as the most effective liberal propaganda ever... probably because most GOP voters didn’t understand it.

Venom was my absolute favorite movie of the year. While I had low expectations, the blend of CG animation with live-action footage and the masterful performance of that guy from the Batman movie, this one was a real winner. I only wish the main characters shared more diversity with our oppressed brothers and sisters, having two straight white cis-gendered characters driving the plot feels like a drag in the exciting unpredictable world of symbiotes, spaceships and space symbiotes, but it isn't the end of the world. Not as long as Venom has something to say about it. A+ 10/10 Movie of the Year 2018
