Are people who served in the military special human beings who should be the only ones allowed to vote?
I believe they are not special human beings. I believe that the national government should only be concerned with war and foreign policy, and to vote or serve in that government you should be willing to pay the costs of those votes. Because conscription and militia are impractical and ineffective, the best way to do that is to grant the vote at the national level to veterans, and open up the branches for just about anybody to do
something.
This is irrelevant to the fact that you got your ass handed to you in your rejection of the legitimacy of people voting in their self-interests within the system we actually have.
This is the kitchen sink argument. It is what people do when they lose. Throw anything they can think about at the person. Avoid the actual topic they just got crushed in.
