Re: BIG Holiday Thread
Nonsense. Make some green bean casserole with cheddar and sour cream. Add some ritz crackers on top.

Roast turkey, sage and onion atuffing, roast potatoes, mashed swede, steamed cabbage and gravy.
Peach crumble, chocolate fudge cake or rice pudding.
Close enough...
This production company is busy all next year so I'm doing my best to impress.

Mash hot cooked sweet potatoes with a little butter, dark brown sugar, and maple syrup. Put in a casserole pan and then arrange one layer of the larger marshmallows on top. Bake until the tops of the marshmallows are brown. It will probably taste more like a dessert to you than a side dish. It goes well with a side of cranberry sauce (I like the whole berry type instead of the smoothjellied cranberry sauce). The colors are beautiful together, too - very harvest festival - and they go very well with roast pork too.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 12:20 pmGo on then, you've peaked my interest.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 12:15 pmYou can't even make sweet potato casserole or hot cocoa without marshmallows, dude.
What the fuck is a sweet potato and marshmallow casserole?
I have to say, it doesn't sound very nice.

Don't forget to stop by the Sears portrait studio today at the mall with the kids while you all are celebrating America's Greatest Holiday of Them All.

I do not know how I can possibly cope when president Trump is out of office. Am I just looking at the rest of my life the way it was before Trump became president??

In all the excitement of impending Black Friday, I forgot a Thanksgiving post I had been planning. I'm sure you all will forgive the oversight.

Yup, sounds much more like something you would eat with custard or cream than have on the same plate as turkey.MilSpecs wrote: ↑Thu Nov 22, 2018 4:13 pmMash hot cooked sweet potatoes with a little butter, dark brown sugar, and maple syrup. Never understood the need to pour maple syrup over your meat either.
Americans are weird.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.
