For now, the three men will be detained to serve as witnesses in the case, Fox 5 San Diego reported.

They will later face the standard deportation process.
Acosta-Avila was reportedly not part of the U.S. border security mission, one in which an estimated 7,000 troops are expected to deploy in support of at various locations along the U.S.-Mexico border.

If you look into it, it turns out that he is just a regular criminal who happened to have joined the national guard at some point in the past. He stopped showing up. Instead of arresting his ass and throwing him in the military detention barracks where he belongs, they were in the process of discharging him.

It really has nothing to do with the Army other than the fact that they are forced to treat troops like females these days.

Back in my day, if you were AWOL, you were in for some fun times in corrective custody. The only people I knew of who were able to just get processed out without first being punished were females.

Active duty is still that way I understand, but National Guard and reserves with no deployment orders will just be processed out. Dishonorable discharge equivalent to a convicted felon which he will be now anyway. This is what happens when you let people like dirty dick in the military.

A Federal Judge has ruled that an All Male Draft is unconstitutional since females are accepted throughout the military.

The judge made no recommendations on how the Selective Service process should change. However, there are 3 obvious options.
1) Do Nothing, leave the system in place. The American people likely DGAF
2) Change Selective Service Enrollment to include women, and all check your genders
3) End all Selective Service
