No - that's what you guys don't get - there will be no "backlash" - the DNC plantation is bearing fruit....GOP's days are numbered.
What are you talking about? Is this your first mid-term? The House is fickle by design. FFs knew the proles were flighty with short memories. The House was created to respond to that.

The Senate gained R seats.

A mostly normal mid-term, IMO, except that the Ds took back far fewer seats in the House than is usual.

It was a blue dribble; hardly panic time.

Hey, if I ever run for president I'll make my records available for you.
The rule of law makes no distinction between a politician and some schmuck living in a van. If we can do this to Trump, we can do this to anybody.
I'm not the one claiming presidential immunity from prosecution so don't talk to me about no distinction.
That's not the claim.

The claim is that the Constitutions guarantees freedom from searches and seizures without probable cause (truth). The demand is that we ignore human rights and the Constitution because the orange man is bad.

With the massive media bias and the nonstop attacks and negative reporting for 2+ years now, it's a miracle the win wasn't bigger. Also considering the massive voter turnout.
The only place I was seeing giant blue wave was in the the brains of the hardcore left. "We aren't Trump," doesn't resonate with the middle.

Yes, the Dems underperformed. There was no Blue Wave, and people aren't all that upset with Trump.

There really was a blue wave, but also a red wave, and they canceled each other out.

That doesn't deflect from the fact that retaining the House was crucial to getting anything done.

How big was the Green wave? I can't find any details about their percentage of the vote.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.
