No, what I mean is: you fundamentally misread the meme.
I know: Inconceivable!

Re: 2018 Mid-Term Elections
Have you considered the possibility that it was *you* who misread the meme?
The point of the meme is that both parties are poison so you can't win (unless you spent the past ten years conditioning your body to the poison, I suppose).
But the analogy dies when you realize that *not* playing the game means you get fucked right in the ass by the poison (liberalism) that infected both parties.
Dan Carlin fallacy.

I suppose anything is possible. I did re-read Borges' story of the Total Library at daybreak this morning in the woods; maybe that's what's in me today.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 9:15 amHave you considered the possibility that it was *you* who misread the meme?

Anyway, spoiler alert: Vizzini is playing the part of the DNC. This isn't a duopoly meme.
Explaining memes is rather tedious. /sigh

I don't think that's how the meme was intended by whoever made it. Memes are generally quick take humor. But your take on it sure works.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 9:15 amHave you considered the possibility that it was *you* who misread the meme?

Hell yeah. Library of Babel is a classic Have you read Tlon Uqbar Orbis Tertius or his Lottery story? That guy can make more of an impact on me in 10 pages than most authors can in an entire book. One of the greats!Fife wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 9:25 amI did re-read Borges' story of the Total Library at daybreak this morning in the woods; maybe that's what's in me today.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 9:15 amHave you considered the possibility that it was *you* who misread the meme?
