It’s not like there was negotiation between the founders as amendments were drafted because that would imply that they behaved like civilized human beings, and looking at their political descendants clearly negates that theory.

They clearly stated in the amendment that it was for people who fall under jurisdiction (i.e. freed slaves). Foreigners do not fully fall under jurisdiction, they are only in jurisdiction insomuch as they are within our borders. These people have citizenship elsewhere. They are not American citizens because of that amendment.

I just posted what the man who wrote the fucking amendment said. He explicitly said it does not confer citizenship to aliens simply for being born here. Magic soil was a "right" manufactured by an activist judge. It's never been tested by SCOTUS, and I bet when it does you will get a 5-4 ruling in favor of being fucking honest about what the Constitution says, and we can start shipping these people back to their real countries.

Indians are yet another example of persons not subject to federal jurisdiction within the scope of the 14th when the 14th was ratified, as the Elk case demonstrates. That changed later when Congress addressed Indian citizenship separately.

The Constitution does not guarantee magic soil citizenship. Magic soil citizenship was invented, illegitimately, by a judge and never even tested in the Supreme Court where today it is likely to die as well it should.
