I know Suburban Farmer and a few other folks like that website/blog, and frequently post links from it. As a whole what does the forum think of their content? From my limited knowledge of them, they seem to have a very doom and gloom view of the US and global economy's future. They also seem a bit conspiracy theory oriented which turns me off from them. That being said, I have read a few good articles from that site, so I would not dismiss it outright. I am very skeptical of anything that claims to predict with specificity something like the global economy in the future. It seems like if you could know something like that, you could find far more lucrative things to do than write a column online. The other thing that was strange to me about Zero Hedge is that it is a Russian blog I believe. This also makes me a bit leery of it for the same reason I'm skeptical of Al Jazeera or RT. What do you guys think about ZH?

ZeroHedge is a broken clock...…………….. it's doomsday predictions(economic) will come true some day.

Though, they do have some other more valuable articles. It's a reall crap shoot over there.

Anhero edge is a valuable resource because unlike most media channels they really do have their finger on the pulse. At least compared to other media sites. Problem is that they have a huge bias against the western economic infrastructure. For good reason, I think they are highly dubious of western economic media outlets but that doesnt make them correct about their gloomy prognostications at all. They severely underestimate the amount of gas left in the tank. By the time this economy sputters to a stop the globalist hegemonic powers will have already wiped out any last visages of Tyler Durdens from God's Green Earth.

Essentially the problem is that they are too eager for the collapse and inspire many people dissatisfied with the state of the world. They are correct and wrong at the same time. Correct about the issues. Correct about reporting things factually in a very brief span of time without catering to entrenched interests. Correct it will end in disaster. COMPLETELY INCORRECT that the end is just around the corner. Pay them no mind if you value anything other than nihilism. You should be reading them with a massive dose of salt so that you can figure out a winning strategy.

Zerohedge is fine... provide its not a solo source. They give a valid perspective, but you need other perspectives to make it useful.
