I dont understand the timing at all. The more conspiratorial side of my mind suspects Trump engineered this but this is too crazy to be believed. Not impossible I guess.

I am starting to get the feeling this is very much planned, and it's going to result in fighting between the armed members of that caravan (mostly terrorists and gangsters) and the US Army. The plan would be to make the Army (and Trump) look like monsters in the media for shooting all the poor defenseless "asylum seekers". If this is right, I'd expect the caravan to get some transportation soon, possibly from NGOs renting charter buses or the Mexican Catholic Church drumming up donated transportation, so they reach the border before the election.

I believe it is very much an engineered humanitarian crisis, and not the first time. Nothing about this looks organic.
