I don’t like Sam Harris. His logic is flawed. His arguments are poor. How the hell did he get famous?! He’s a fucking nobody-done-nothing.
He carries the water of the left, and as it has been proven time and time again, they don’t hold a high bar for the information they regurgitate....

I don’t understand why its even being argued in kavanaughs favor that he faced perjury if he gets caught lying, one would think that gives him even more incentive to be honest, which he wasn’t.

Nobody said it was just any job interview, but even lying on your application at Starbucks is enough to get it thrown in the trash, apparently standards for the Supreme Court don’t meet the barista threshold?

I'm no fan of Sam Harris but he makes some good points here. Worth a listen.

So, what points were good again?
What was already pointed out. The job interview factor and the obvious lying. He lost me half way through the way he’s ignoring her obvious lying and political motives.

I get tired of non-lawyers arguing the law. It is VERY specific, that’s why there’s Law School and you have to pass the Bar. Kavanaugh’s fine, but the lying bitches, he could sue for defamation, and their lies are clear.

A guy says he’s a virgin in High School is probably true, and even if it isn’t, only Meuller Witch hunts would pursue it for political gain.

The idea that not giving him the Supreme Court job would be tantamount to presuming he’s guilty without evidence is laughable. Here’s an example: we ask him a question, he gives a ridiculously implausible answer. We say, thank you for your time, we are still presuming you are innocent, but you acting like we’re too stupid to know that you’re lying is kind of a concern, and since you’re not willing to clear any of it up we’ll go with any of the other qualified candidates

well he did go through those three days of testimony, i've never been a barista but im sure many of them lie about boofing in the 80s too

i guess i fall on his side positively, or rather he gets more sympathy from me, because her lies appear to be more significant and calculated. downplaying his party boy past is to be expected yknow, lying about puking and that sort of shit just doesnt do it for me as far as "perjury" goes. that words gets thrown around pretty carelessly on both sides, in my non-lawyerly opinion

again im not stoked on neo-con kavanaugh so im not trying to rally to his defense here
