Re: THE ERA OF TRUMP
Total investigations?
What no sequitur is this now?
What investigation are you demanding and why does that matter? The Supreme Court ruled it "legal". The only way to curb it is through regulation. But now you are saying it's not happening if there are no "investigations"?
Dude, you are losing this one badly.
This is happening everywhere Amazon operates. Multiple news investigations have confirmed these kinds of practices in multiple nations. While what happens overseas is not our business, we certainly can regulate the amount of time workers are afforded bathroom breaks during a workday. It sucks that we even reached that point, but we are here.
Add in things like work without pay (which is fucking ridiculous immoral) as well.

So, no labor or safety laws being broken, even in the Socialist UK - but subhuman working conditions.
That’s the only non-sequitir going on here.
Left-of-the-bell-curevers can’t keep up without doing gross shit. Everyone else is fine. Happy, even. You have no humanitarian travesty to cling to here.

Re: THE ERA OF TRUMP
LOL, what?
That's fallacious.
I did not argue these practices currently violate a regulation. I argued that they SHOULD be regulated.
You are replying to an argument that some abusive practice should be regulated with a quip that they currently are not regulated so it's not a problem.
But child labor used to be legal too. Was it also not a problem since there were no current regulations being broken?
You need to work on your logic a little bit.

I think two regulations are in order:
(1) Employers should allow employees adequate time to use the restroom during the workday without repercussions.
(2) Employers should pay their employees for their time starting from when they arrive at the workplace until when they leave the workplace.
Convince me that is wrong.

Subjective opinions aren’t arguable to any conclusion. However, your additions are a legal nightmare.
What is “adequate time” to use the restroo? Can an air traffic controller ditch his post in the middle of landing a plane for “adequate time” at the restroom? Can employees squander the last X minutes of the work day, every day, under your “adequate restroom time” provision?
Good lord. You, like the transgender activists, want government legislating our lives down to potty-time. Bring on the bureaucratic creep. Bring on the countless lawsuits. Bring on the bigger government.
Here’s a crazy solution, those who cannot do the job 99% of their peers do without pissing in a can, leave.

Re: THE ERA OF TRUMP
Now you are engaging in more fallacy.
There is nothing subjective about what I stated. It's an objective fact that Amazon has labor abuses that result in employees in several sectors having to shit in cans or on the streets. It is objective fact that Amazon forces employees to wait for hours without pay to go through some convoluted security system. These facts were even accepted by the Supreme Court when the Supreme Court gave it the "It's legal!!" stamp.
There is nothing subjective about what I posted.
I proposed the following regulations:

Instead of fallacies and nonsense, can you please debate what I actually wrote? What is wrong with allowing employees to go to the restroom or paying them for work?(1) Employers should allow employees adequate time to use the restroom during the workday without repercussions.
(2) Employers should pay their employees for their time starting from when they arrive at the workplace until when they leave the workplace.

Making false claims of “objective fact” (no one waits “hours” to get through security) and demanding I respond to the same shit I just responded to (where pointed out the pie-in-the-sky uselessness of your simpleton “solutions”) isn’t a debate.
I take it your bag if tricks is empty, and all you have left is outright denial of reality.

Are you disputing the facts accepted by the Supreme Court?

I’m disputing your assertion that Amazon employees regularly wait “hours” without pay to get through security.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Wed Oct 10, 2018 9:31 amAre you disputing the facts accepted by the Supreme Court?
Do you have evidence to support your claim?
