That’s not my recollection at all. I remember Bush rolling out Ethanol, and being praised as the Savior of Corn by the Right, then we all learned how bad it was during the Obama years.

It was even before Bush.
The first rumblings began during the embargo. The idea was to mitigate oil shortages and it somehow got remarketed for the climate change scam.

Hey now, what could be more environmentally responsible than burning thousands of acres of rain forest to plant corn for a couple of barrels of ethanol? It's as environmental as veganism.

Your recollection. I included 2 articles from the Hill. One was from 2015. If you don't recollect, then just read the damn link I provided from 2015. It's just a sample. There are dozens more and non of them attack Obama for doing harm to the planet like the ones from 2018 do with Trump.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 1:29 pmThat’s not my recollection at all. This has nothing to do with Bush, btw but you just couldn't help yourself. It's a liberal reflex. Someone mentions Obama and your defensive instinct is to go back to Bush.

That's what I showed ooky a few years ago to crickets. The Younger Dryass in particular resulted in epic climate change in a single lifetime that most of us could scarcely imagine.

Nah. The most commonly held hypothesis has more to do with the nature of the complex system adjusting to the end of the ice ages, last I read. There was an explosion over North America around 10,000 BC, but not likely enough to cause that much change.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed Oct 10, 2018 8:04 amProbably the result of an asteroid impact...Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Wed Oct 10, 2018 6:51 amThat's what I showed ooky a few years ago to crickets.
