That woman can't act for shit, and the writer/director should be helicoptered. I'm really going to miss that show...
What show are you watching right now?

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Tennant and RTD were irreplaceable. That's pretty clear now. Moffatt managed to string a few good episodes together, but that was the end of it.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 8:50 pmLike I said, no worse than usual.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 6:50 pmJust got around to seeing it, and... you're wrong.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Sun Oct 07, 2018 8:47 pmWatched the first episode of the new Dr Who last night.

Dr Who goes in cycles. It has been a lot worse than it is now. The Christopher Biggins years were so bad they stopped making it.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 9:25 pmTennant and RTD were irreplaceable. That's pretty clear now. Tennant was a recent highlight and Matt Smith was OK.
I have no problem with it being a woman it's just too corny. No real sense of menace.
I miss Tom Baker...

They could have used a woman that could actually act. Imagine Missy as the doctor. It would be amazing.
That and the writing is abysmal. No coherent plot, ex machina worse than ever, disjointed story points.
And the sonic is a goddamned dildo.

I want to see it because I love the idea, however, I fear animal movies, especially dog movies because that's one of the few things that make me crySpeaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sun Sep 02, 2018 4:46 amI watched this last night:
There are a few scientific inaccuracies, but overall I really loved the movie.

Anyone watching this season of Man in the High Castle? I'm almost done with it
I'm not as enamored with it as I was before. They're getting heavy handed with the homosexuality and Juliana Crain's hoe-ness is going to get her in trouble.
I've also been watching Mayans MC as the episodes come out. Definitely just SoA with Mexicans in SoCal instead of whiteys in NorCal but that's what I'm expecting

I was dreading that the whole time, knowing full well it would ruin the date if the dog died, but it's okay.California wrote: ↑Sat Oct 13, 2018 2:21 pmI want to see it because I love the idea, however, I fear animal movies, especially dog movies because that's one of the few things that make me crySpeaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sun Sep 02, 2018 4:46 amI watched this last night:

Read the book. It is a quick stream of consciousness experience that you could probably finish in one sitting. PKD wasn't about all this HIV positive identity politics stuff, whereas the shows creators are. Don't drink piss, go to the spring it came from and satisfy your thirst there.California wrote: ↑Sat Oct 13, 2018 2:25 pmAnyone watching this season of Man in the High Castle? I'm almost done with it

Hollywood could fuck up a glass of water. I can count on one hand the book to movie adaptations that they have done correctly.
