I think they lost control of it. The trend and momentum is away from their malice and resentment.

Even in personal lives, all of this racial and sexual hatred has to be taking a toll on their personal lives. People are telling them to fuck off with their racism and sexism everywhere, and eventually they will have to confront the fact that it is truly they who are the haters and sexists. That is going to be a hard pill to swallow for them, but probably unavoidable for many.

I think white women and gay men will be the first demographics to ditch the democratic party wholesale, but blacks not long afterwards.

Even on a strategic level, once the Dems lose white women, the identity politics game is won by the white vote. This strategy was always unwinnable.

I think eventually the Sophists get rejected. IMO, the Filthy Collectivists have had their 100 years in the spotlight, time for them to go. Frankly, easy access to information makes it more difficult on them. I see a huge revolution in eduction coming in the next 50 years. The modern Corporate University Re-Education camps are going to lose their stranglehold.

They already did somewhat. Universities are only good for credentials, which are quickly becoming useless. Scientific research is already moving to private and government labs.

I don't need a university to do anything in my field. I can get by with home computers. If I really need more resources than a single computer, I can buy a lot of used machines and build a cluster.

There already are distributed computing services available at affordable prices.

I think you will see a lot of the cool research go to ground with home researchers working in groups distributed around the globe. Not just computer science fields like AI, but some biotech too.

Universities, especially in America, no longer serve any good purpose. They are just credentials factories, and we are in a credentials boom. What matters is what you know and can do, and unless you want to check in to the corporate system, there is no point to universities.

What about invaluable services coming out of places like the University of Washington? Things like this?
