Hopefully, blue team takes back some portion of government, so that we can avoid total control by one party.

Other than that, I don't really care. Vote Third Party, or vote Challenger.

Give him some type of credit. He has stayed eerily quiet on the whole Kavanaugh thing. I think he know those Dems have gone off the deep end. He has to look at his sons and know that if Dems take control he is consigning them to misery.

Not eery at all. Pretty obvious bunch of clowns and hit jobs against his character. I’m not arguing that.

And I don’t want Dem control any more than Rep control.

@ DB +1

I think a lot more middle of the road folks are pushed toward Team Red, than Blue over this SCOTUS nonsense.
It's definitely helping team Red, I think. My lefty & righty friends on FB are duking it out about this topic. The usual drill... I think the two-year meltdown, though, has just been exhausting for some of us who have a very strong dislike of Trump, but also think Clinton would likely have been worse. I don't watch the polls, I simply don't care - it's just my feeling from reading the screeds on FB. The right-leaning women are starting to push back.

I am, too.... I have had a few lefty friends block me, because of my postings about these hearings. They do not want to hear from me.

So there won't be any bitching from the two of you if the blue wave does not materialize?

I’ll continue to be concerned about single-party rule in the government.

So in other words what we already have? The "wealthy corrupt" party in blue and red flavors?

They'll whine, they'll always whine. They'll all whine. Make a drinking game of it. Whenever they complain about
1. Gerrymandering
2. Россия
3. "voter suppression"

Take a drink, call it the Democrats Devil's triangle.

I'm going to be unhappy either way. I'm not voting for any Ds next month. There's no winning scenario for me, here. Neither of these groups of criminals represent my interests.

As I stated earlier:

A win for team red sends a message to the democrats that they are engaged in a losing strategy. That's a good thing.
A win for team blue gives us a government not entirely controlled by one party. That's a good thing.

Which is better? It's a coin flip, really.

That said, there's very little chance you will read this post. I expect some sort of nonsensical answer that indicates you are responding to a voice in your head, instead of what I wrote.

The only winning scenario is to hold your nose and vote R. Go to the primaries and do your best to vote out neocons and libertarians. Destroy the democratic party.

But we all know you are on team D.
