Going to take quite some comeback now for team America to win this.

It's a big deal over here.

Yes. It used to be between the US and GB but after years of one sided matches it became Europe v America to even it out.
Recently Europe has been the more dominant.

The problem was that Europeans were too inbred and didnt have the proper spinal curvature and hand eye coordination to play golf. Now that Americans have become increasingly a muddied race and Europeans such as Nords are discovering the game, the gap has been closed.
