I bought those books when they first came out, and enjoyed them then, but I'm reading them this time around from a much more sophisticated viewpoint. I was surprised how topical they still are 10 years after publication! Almost all the fads then are still going strong just that people are a decade older. Lander exactly captured the narcissism that underlies The Left.

I was in Portland last weekend at a street fair bike rally. I knew every single person there was sure Kavangauh was a serial rapist. Gwynne & I were walking the route and we passed many gentrefied houses with Black Lives Matter signs in the yard, yet we did not see even 1 Black person. It made me very uncomfortable; it's a Stepford Wives bubble.
