Ok
Moderation time
I just watched a YouTube of every play he made tonight
A. Dude needs to get some touch on the ball
Not ever pass should be a fastball
B. Typical rookie QB play selection
Almost all passes were to his first read
Most passes were safe underneath and out routes
C. It’s still something to hold in promise
Biggest deal is the team responded to him

Woh. Good points.
But still. I haven’t seen a lot of rookies do that.

I haven’t either. Solid evidence to be hopeful.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 6:25 amWoh. Good points.

Douche bag sports reporters are slamming Coach Jackson for not starting Mayfield sooner. For Fucks sake.
I would also note the Jet Defense prepped for TieRod end, it makes a difference. 6 weeks into this, if not sooner defenses will adjust and he won’t have the same success with safe routes.
The 10 yard out will turn into a pick six

Also, Browns haven’t won a game on Sunday since 2015

I was thinking that too. We’ll have to see how he keeps up after a few weeks.C-Mag wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 4:37 pmI haven’t either. Solid evidence to be hopeful.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Fri Sep 21, 2018 6:25 amWoh. Good points.

Cleveland is already retiring his jersey though.

And... once again, “New York” finds a way to fuck the Browns.

Re: NFL 2018-19 Season
I watched the Army - Navy game last Saturday, and it got me missing football. Since the NFL sucks, I decided to watch some real NFL action.
The 70s were great football. QBs could actually be hit, recievers could be hit. The running game was a primary part of the game.
This AFC Championship game featured the World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers against the best Houston team ever fielded to date. Earl Campbell vs the Steel Curtain.
Bonus
The vintage commercials are worth watching if nothing else.

Re: NFL 2018-19 Season
I was watching the NFL highlight program on TV a couple of days ago. One team (I think it was the Dolphins) passed the ball amongst themselves about 4 times and went on to score a touchdown. It was great, almost like watching rugby. I still don't really get why that doesn't happen more often.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.
