Let alone the mold, overflow of toxic coal ash, animal manure, and the many other problems after the water recedes.

Hopefully they don’t buy the drywall from China. That went oh so well in the south.

They don't expect it will recede back to anything resembling normal for another week. That's a long time for houses & cars to be completely underwater. It's looking a lot like Katrina - the devastation will be massive. Some rivers haven't crested, yet.

This is a very BFD. But DSl only felt a raindrop or two, so it's totally a non-event. Lol. No point in discussing damaging surge with someone who doesn't understand what surge is.

Well dodged Irma by having a pre arraigned flight. Luckily the Gulf Coast tends to stay away from the more catastrophic damage.

I just feel bad for those that don’t have flood insurance or gets screwed over by having flood insurance.

Only time will tell.

I wish I dodged Irma. Lost power for 5 days, but no serious damage, so ultimately I am fortunate. Do you live in Florida?

But was Irma a biblical cat 1 superstorm of the century proving Trump is destroying the world with his disbelief in global warming??

I don't think Floridians can process the gravity of what we are enduring here.

Send money.

Go easy, Florida.

StA has some decent anti-gouging laws up there in NC, but he ain't got a raving hellion like Pam Bondi to enforce that shit for him.

Do you live in the panhandle? I used to go to Fort Walton beach with my family. Despite its reputation, there is some beautiful sights near the coast up there.

Trade offs, man. Maybe you can’t make any money shipping in generators, bottled water, or batteries before the hurricane, but you can still sell a few pine boxes afterward.

It’s all about trade offs.
Just as long as no one makes any money by taking extraordinary steps to provide critical resources before or during a disaster, it’s all good.

Port Richey off of suicide 19. A more barren 4 lane highway litter with strip malls. I much prefer upstate NY.
