Putting a base in Poland would be a bad idea. I love Poles, but they border on Russia. Hard pass. We will just end up with another South Korea commitment that is destined to get run down like a speed bump.
I have no trouble selling them equipment and arms, though.

Radiating your own nation would surely be a good indicator. Or maybe it would indicate a stray cow stepped on a nuclear land mine and now half your population has cancer.
