I have always wondered what a biscuit is in America.
Total misnomer really as bis cuit means twice cooked and generally refers to what you call cookies.

Beginning the harvest in earnest now.

We’ve already gotten:

10 lbs Tomatoes
10 lbs banana peppers
10 lbs green beans
2 sugar pumpkins

I’d estimate another 2x that still sitting in the field.

Casualties:

Cantaloupes didn’t fare well
Honeydews look stunted
Corn got demolished by raccoons

Still a bunch of garlic, onions, and potatoes too. Here’s the first bucket of beans.

I am growing scotch bonnet and jalapeno peppers atm. True story, the other day I ate some scotch bonnet peppers and was tearing up because they were very hot. The oil from them got on my hand, and I took a shit and when I wiped my ass, I felt a burning sensation. I got into the shower and washed my ass, but it burned for awhile. Remember awhile back when my peppers weren't hot and I couldn't figure out why? I don't have that problem with the scotch bonnet ones. My asshole can attest to that.

Well, I have to say this garden has been a success, despite an epic fail on corn, onions, and potatoes. Got around a dozen stunted potatoes - enough for a few meals. I'll have to review our growing process for them.

We're up to roughly 40lb Tomatoes, 10 gallons of green beans (canning as fast as possible), a dozen cucumbers, and half a dozen peppers and sugar pumpkins.

I can't believe the yield coming out of these bean plants. They really love it here.

Still to come, more beans, tomatoes, rhubarb, and honeydew melons!
