I am thinking about the fact that this guy is going to fuck us right in the ass just like John Roberts.

Why defend this shit? They could have nominated and confirmed pretty much anybody right now. This guy is not going to do you any favors. Just because it's going to be harder to confirm an actually good judge after the midterms you want to fuck us all over for the next thirty years?

Trump lost this fight the minute he capitulated to the Swamp.

No redemption now before election day.

Fucking loser.

Exhibit A: John Roberts.

John Roberts was selected by the republicans. He proceeded to defend Obamacare and fuck Americans straight in the fucking collective asshole within only a few years.

There is no defending people like this. Why even try to defend this?
Turn the dial right. On the Anthony Kennedy scale this guy is slightly to the right of that. Take the win.

The very moment everybody not on team pozz realizes that this is a fucking war is the moment we start to turn all this shit around.

The democrats are not going to nominate judges that are compromises or swing votes. They will nominate political actors like Sotomayor. Then these same republicans who gave us Kavenaugh will try to be polite and just confirm Sotomayor 2.0, just like last time, and the time before that. Meanwhile, every time some abomination like Obamacare comes before the court, guess what Kavenaugh and Sotomayor 2.0 are going to vote to support..

Because if we withdraw this nomination now it's going to be harder to nominate the next guy after the midterms. Great.

We are here talking about the kinds of people who with straight faces can argue they invented natural rights nowhere enumerated in the US Constitution out of whole cloth, and then scratch their heads in bewilderment at the notion that the very explicit rights outlined in the Bill of Rights exist, arguing that they are vague and do not mean what they say they mean.

Maybe let's not have more people like that on the Supreme Court. Thanks.

Agreed. One more swamp critter won't make much difference. I hope he chooses better next time.

Thank you - it's a trial period.

Civil week? Lol... did it work? I am back with a promise to myself that the moment I become uncivil, I will leave. I have no room for drama in my life, especially the negative type. I can turn on the tv if I want to see drama.

It was an initiative by StA. He said he needs to cut back on toxicity in his life.

I thought I noticed a big change in tone.
