This is what happens when you try to set anti-price gouging legislation on life-saving liquids. Same thing happened during Katrina with TV's and at the shoe store. This is the market reacting.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 5:19 pmThe one walking out with cases of grape and strawberry soda was a nice touch.

It would be a shame if all those Nikes got looted from random Foot Lockers. How do you spin that?

Those would be brave anti-gouging activists freeing those noble Nikes from the capitalist white-supremacist oppression of the local strip mall slumlords.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sun Sep 16, 2018 6:16 amIt would be a shame if all those Nikes got looted from random Foot Lockers. Hey, you might want to head over to UNCA this afternoon... you might get a photo op and a pumpkin spice latte with Anderson.

Day Three of the Water Famine.
The homosexuals in Asheville have joined motorcycle gangs that ravage the highways for water and gas. Still no word from Raleigh on whether they will lift the deadly anti-price gouging laws.

The Earth is wobbling more than it should, and humans are likely the cause......
"thanks to human activities."

Time to ban the Jump Around celebration at UW-Madison. It's causing the earth to wobble too much. Let the lefty college kids suck on that.

Like I told you all before: welcome to the coming dark age.
If anybody wants to do real science, my suggestion is to stay far away from universities.
Think late antiquity. You need to start building intellectual analogs to remote fortresses, abbeys, and cathedral schools. Lots of innovation and scholarship happened in those days, but not in the ways it happened throughout classical civilization. Out of those alternatives arose universities. Now universities are becoming infected with degeneracy and intellectual stagnation. I think the next alternative is something more distributed and ephemeral. More like loose research groups spread around the world.
Just like the previous collapse, the fake intellectuals care more about the credentials than actual scholarship, and promoting ideology rather than geniune discovery. Do not play that game.
