Gives Cover
My dad was visiting, and as we were talking about my abysmal political career, he warned me I’m like Ron Paul or Bernie Sanders. He meant it as an insult but I surprised him by saying, “Ron Paul and Bernie Sanders were both U.S. senators and legitimate presidential contenders. I’d love to achieve the success of either.”
“Then why haven’t you?” my dad asked, pointedly. “You’re smarter, more accomplished, and more articulate than either of them.”
“Because,” I answered. “Ron Paul’s Libertarian idealology gives cover for greedy people, and Bernie Sanders Socialist ideology gives cover for envious people. My ideology, rooted in logic, gives nothing to anybody, hence, I have no constituency.”
My dad told me I should sacrifice my integrity if I ever wanted to win.

What's your opinion of Dennis Kucinich, and his political career?

I didn't know much about him until now; this is the key line from Wikipedia: "Kucinich was elected to the Cleveland City Council at the age of twenty-three."
He has no accomplishments, no career other than politics, no integrity, and no professed ideology that I could find.

Gotta love an INTJ. Not the best with people at all, but good with most everything else if they want to be. I once heard that there's a fine line between self-confidence and arrogance, and the other guy gets to decide which you have. It's a pretty drastic split I find for how people interpret INTJs.

My experience too. I'm actually extremely good with people, one-on-one, or in a crowd where I'm speaking. In small groups, however, envy & resentment quickly overwhelms my effectiveness. I try never to go out by myself; even one ally is usually enough to suppress the bile, but online, it's just me; that's a toughie.katarn wrote: ↑Fri Sep 14, 2018 10:24 amGotta love an INTJ. Have you ever acted as a formal mediator in civil disputes?
Have you represented any clients in formal mediaton sessions?
If so, I'd be interested in your experiences.

INTP is the master race, though.
