But not with the same reach in the political ,social, and judicial realm. It’s been ingrained for well over 200 years. All the other cults you’ve mentioned are barely in their infancy.

Trust me my army brat days the preacher was everything to everyone’s personal sect. That pretty much made me walk away from it. And I’ve never regret it since.

The only way to erase religion away is to give the Government to take care of religion.
Nothing brings more people to atheism and creates a secular society better than a state religion in Christianity.

Thanks to a state religion and religion taught in schools nearly a quarter of the people are atheists and one fifth are agnostics.

No State religion in the US...……. but I would argue that your theory has some glaring opposition proof out there you might want to consider. The State religion of most of the Middle East is Islam, last I checked not a huge atheist movement in those countries in the last say 100 years. ;)

My fondest memories of going to church as an adolescent were the post-church breakfasts. Strawberry-topped pancakes, buttered buscuits and jam, crispy bacon and eggs god damn did I love church

What a scaralugious trite thing to type. Plus not really accurate since cults are legalized and being one in an of itself isn't "illegal" so idk what your point really was...do you?

We are a Christian Culture...………. I don't see that as bad or something we should push to move away from. No religion is perfect, but Christianity aint bad as far as they go. I personally don't get the fear of Christianity or that we are going to become some sort of Theocracy.

Not saying that either. The Bible is just a book. It’s the person that gives the sermon I usually have a problem with. ;)
