… I could go on (and on, and on) start talking about the strip joints, “massage parlours”, domination dungeons where you can get whipped and told you are a very naughty boy etc., “head shops” (that sell drug paraphernalia and legal/grey-area drugs) that operate discreetly but quite openly in the area… or the “opportunities” you have in this city to gamble away all your money - but I think you get the point.

The problem all Western societies have with immigration is this - forced integration is seen as evil oppression.

Some do see it as something like that indeed.

Basically the liberals and and other lefties simply don't understand how very important as "group identity" the nation state is and what role patriotism has. Unfortunately it is simply mixed with extreme nationalism, basically jingoism (and racism and yadda yadda). And many declare the nation state as an idea to be obsolete... as if the World would have transformed to something totally different. Yet nationality and patriotism are things that bond the rich and poor together and create true social cohesion with people that otherwise don't have much anything in common.

Once people start to think that a national identity doesn't exist or is something negative, you will get a lot of problems in the society.
