This is stupid as hell for Obama for a number of reasons.

1. It puts the Good Economy in the News before the Mid-Terms
- only a minority of Obamanauts are actually going to believe him.
2. It leads to a discussion of a review of Obama's Economic policies and results, which were luke warm at best.
- in reviewing the 2016 election during the hangover before Trump was inaugurated there were tons of articles by major outlets basically saying........... It's the Economy Stupid and Obama let us down.

This always annoys me. Blaming or promoting the economy on a president during his term is pretty ridiculous. 90% of what he does isn't going to have an effect for years.

Whatever Trump is doing, it isn't going to affect overall GDP and Trade for some time yet. He's certainly given the market a good ride, with all his bluster and tariffs, but the real effects are still to come. Wall Street is desperately trying to predict those effects, and that's why you see stocks bouncing around, but that has nothing to do with the actual economy present day.

Your not being very realistic. Trump turned the economy around for a lot of people. We are right now at the lowest jobless rate in generations. Entire industries are coming back to life.

Turn off cable news and stop reading that Russian psyop blog.

In 2020, the dems are going to have to make the case that millions of Americans need to vote to lose their jobs to the third world and go back dependency because Trump tweets mean things about the people who fucked up the economy.

Who, journalists?
We are right now at the lowest jobless rate in generations.
False.

We are at the lowest official unemployment rate, which is NOT the same thing.
Entire industries are coming back to life.
Huh? Are we making buggy whips again?

Because he’s done so much about actual problems, like....

A cursory examination of Democratic talking points on the economy reveals:

1. When the economy is doing well it is the work of the current democrat president, or last democrat president that made it so.

2. When the economy is doing poorly it’s the fault of the current Republican President, or last Republican President.

... serious, ask a Democrat. It’s a law, like Godwin’s. As reliable as gravity.

Hey, Look here................... Stephen Harper is Fucking Over the Canadian Economy, it's not Trudeaus fault.

CANADA – The net loss in August — which was the second largest monthly decline since the last recession — drove the unemployment rate to 6 per cent, from 5.8 per cent a month earlier, while wage gains decelerated to their slowest this year.
Economists had expected a gain of 5,000 jobs and an unemployment rate of 5.9 per cent, according to the median estimate in a Bloomberg survey.  So far in 2018, the Canadian economy has shed 14,600 jobs.

The biggest news in the August employment report was a sharp increase in pay.

The average wage paid to American workers rose by 10 cents to $27.16 an hour. What’s more, the yearly rate of pay increases climbed to 2.9% from 2.7%, marking the highest level since June 2009.
What asshole wants to go back to declining real incomes, joblessness, welfare, and lots of fuzzy Obama speeches? Raise your hand..
