If the DoJ weren’t
quite so fucking retarded, they’d have simply enforced the law, rather than publicly “threaten” to.
They can’t enforce it against a nonexistent site.
I meant after it’s established. They’d have half the city’s addicts lined up for them.
I don’t even support drug enforcement, but it’s a painfully obvious move.

Yeeeeah, but then you have to process all those addicts through the judicial system, and lock them up, and feed and bathe them, provide them lawyers and guards ... shit gets expensive.
Better to just nip it in the bud with a big ol’ “No”.

Well you and I know that, but that’s kind of what the Prison Industrial Complex does. Unless someone suddenly had a stroke of conscience, this was a direct shot to the foot.

They can still enforce the laws.

Where in the Constitution does it say these federal drug laws are okay?

The same part that allowed Tricky Dick to default on America’s debt, and move to pretend Monopoly money.

That's your support for federal drug laws?
Read that clause again, and reconsider. We'll withhold your Flounder U. special citation while you check that out again.

Not only that but if you did raid a site like that the licenses and livelihoods of every medical professional and government bureaucrat would be in serious jeopardy. Let them back down and bitch out, it's good politics. If you just let a municipal government defy you and you come down on them out of no where, dirty dick here would the first to complain about how it was a "petty political move." Now he just gets to expose his dogmatic "dems good, Reps bad" undercover hack bullshit.
