If I was shut up somewhere by my employer without pay and not officially on duty I would get blue blazing blind drunk, piss in the corner shit on the floor and sing rude songs. Any complaints would be null and woid since I’m not on the clock.
A couple of hundred people doing that for a week would probably solve the problem without the courts having to get involved.
You’d be arrested and sued for vandalism here in the states.
All the keyboard agitators here haven’t even taken the effort to create a useless online petition for us to sign (which shows you how invested they actually are). Organized security line drunkenness might force corporate policy reform. Or, it might result in mass firings/hirings. Either way, *something* would happen, which is more than we can say for the last five pages of this thread.

I like the thinking though.
In my country they would be arrested for illegal detention.

As little as Puerto Rico has been in the news, I'm sure the Emergency Response and rebuilding has been going pretty well.
Tell me that was sarcasm
Oh please, the coverage of Katrina was nonstop the supposition is correct. When it comes to a GOP president with this bitch media no news is good news.

How ‘voluntary’ is a job though, when Amazon and the other megacorps have removed most employment opportunities?
English please?
It’s not entirely “voluntary” to work for Amazons packing center, when most other rural employment opportunities (from small business) have been eliminated by that same corporation (and others).
What the fuck do you care? Flounder pretending to care about rural america is not believable.
