noob lol what, Battlefield 2 is ranked pretty commonly as the peak of the series. I had some friends that played BF2 when it was active but I was but a console pleb in those days. I cut my teeth on the Bad Company series and have been very active on BF3, 4 and now 1, so I'm in the unenviable position of being a huge Battlefield fan but also semi-red pilled straight white male. For all the complaints about the reveal trailer from online gamer bros (including myself), the multiplayer will always be the highlight of the series, and no amount of historical fantasy can take that away. Here's the real trailer for BF5, incase anyone was curious



The biggest complaint from this trailer is the terrible historical revisionism of the House of the Rising Sun

The games that brings back great memories of nostalgia for me was Silent Service 1985 version, and Wings of Fury 1987 version).

If you want FPS... meh... COD:2.

That’s a personal opinion, I was never a fan of a game that rewarded you for sitting on your ass for 250+ hours to get a medal.

Played through COD 2 on Veteran. It was grueling. Infinite respawns on every level? Fucking tiresome.

There is nothing ‘before my time’, goofball. I used to copy code out of 3-2-1 Contact into my Apple IIe, and play space invaders or seven cities of gold.
