How ‘voluntary’ is a job though, when Amazon and the other megacorps have removed most employment opportunities?
English please?
It’s not entirely “voluntary” to work for Amazons packing center, when most other rural employment opportunities (from small business) have been eliminated by that same corporation (and others).

Gonna need links for that statement of fact.

If you can accept or reject a deal while not under coercion, it’s voluntary.

Also, when you refer to some of the largest employers in the nation as “removing employment opportunities” it sounds ridiculous to sane people.

Henry Ford didn’t remove employment opportunities, he created new ones that rendered d ones obsolete. It’s called progress, Rip Van Winkle.

You need links to show that small businesses have been decimated by Amazon/Walmart?

Or that small business is the largest employment source for Americans?

Either way, your pedantry is uncalled for.

Yes, you’re not under “coercion”, you’ll just have to sit on welfare and receive less, while your family rots away. No guns pointed here.

Fuckin job-killing industrial revolution.
Fucking ushering in the Apex of human quality of life.

Back in utopia a man could pull a fifty ton pyramid brick for two mugs of beer, before all the job killing innovators cane along.

So the “job opportunity killers” are guilty of giving despondent welfare recipients the opportunity to make more?
Dastardly.

A little early in the day to be hitting the sauce already, eh Grumps?

If moving boxes are your only skill, then you should work on trying to develop better skills, not stop the company that moves boxes better than anyone else.

Dude, I don’t know what to make of you guys anymore. You just argue in circles to be right.

You see jobs as the engine of the economy, yet no problem when state-subsidied monstrosities eliminate most of them. And no consideration for what happens when those subsidies expire, and prices go back up.

You bitch about welfare queens, but expect people to shit in a bucket for an extra dollar/hour.

You want to canonize Bezos, even though you acknowledge that his business only exists because of ridiculous subsidies.

It’s like Ayn Rand on bath salts around here sometimes.
